HYGIENE AND PROPHYLAXIS
Dental hygiene consists in prophylactic hygiene carried on in order to prevent cases of dental emergency. The basis of dental hygiene is dental home care, a regular habit of good oral hygiene, brushing and flossing routine. This should be accompanied by professional prophylactic dental care performed by trained professionals.
Prophylaxis prevents dental diseases and complications in case of already present dental diseases.
In our clinic, we offer the following solution of dental prophylaxis:
- Brushing, flossing and interdental brushing techniques;
- Detection of plaque with dental plaque staining agents;
- Sealing grooves and fissures;
- Dental ultrasonic scaling, AIR-FLOW, professional brushing;
- Fluoride treatment in special mouth guards.
