You will be always safe in STOMESTET clinic, as we are taking very seriously your dental health and protection.
We have been and are constantly investing in sterilizing agents and equipment ever since the opening of our practice in 2001.
The steps of a correct and thorough sterilization are the following:
- Pre-sterilization in special boxes;
- Mechanic (manual) washing;
- Wrapping the instruments in aluminum foils with sterilization markers that change color allowing us to check the sterilization process;
- Sterilization proper in autoclave;
- Marking the day and hour of sterilization;
- Storage in special compartments.
The sterilization of dental instruments is achieved by either physical or chemical methods. Physical methods include sterilization by hot air (dry heat) and high-pressure steam (wet heat) when the steam temperature rises in proportion to the pressure. Chemical methods include disinfectants and antiseptic solutions. The residue is placed in special tightly closed containers, disposed of by the staff of an incineration company.
Strict compliance to the norms of asepticism and antisepticism, as well as the investment in the best sterilization equipment are a guarantee that in our clinic you will be treated without running the risk of getting some blood or saliva transmitted disease.
During the dental treatment, we employ only single use consumable products (napkins, glasses, needles, gloves, masks, dental aspirator), and when the room is being prepared for the new patient the nurses sterilize all contact surfaces (the chair, dental equipment, instruments, dental aspirators, air-water spray, lamps, etc.) with a disinfectant that works and dries fast. We should also mention that we have several movable parts, which are one time used for every patient.
The fact that we use the best disinfecting substances, the highest steam heat system technology, and the single use consumable products ensures zero risk of contamination.
The clinic has biological water filters, a bio-filter ventilation system, and the floors are made of antibacterial and antiseptic materials. We also use UV bacteria killing lamps to disinfect the air and the surfaces in the rooms with high bacterial charge
Before disinfecting the work area, the medical staff stores non-sterile materials in special places (special containers for dangerous waste products) and brings the used instruments in the sterilization area, where they are to follow the necessary steps. The sterilization area is located in an appropriate place, purposely designed for the cleaning and preparation of the instruments, for sterilization proper and temporary storage of the sterilized instruments. Our patients are welcome to visit this area anytime.
The fact that we strictly follow the hygiene norms and standards in the field is another element that should determine you to choose us.
